Bolt Partners With Saks Off 5th, Shinola and More – WWD

Bolt, a leading checkout technology company has announced its partnership with Saks Off 5th, Shinola, Filson, Lafayette 148 and Toys “R” Us. The San Francisco-based technology company helps automatically recognize more shoppers, increase conversions and help boost store account registrations, drive repeat purchases and build loyalty and relationships with their consumers.

As previously reported by WWD, 22 percent of shoppers said that “lengthy checkout processes and forms” are the biggest issues they face when online shopping. Thirty-two percent of consumers also feel that “remembering their account login” is the biggest challenge of an e-commerce experience. Saks Off 5th’s senior vice president of e-commerce, Julie Mares, notes that the company prioritizes creating a seamless checkout experience through a consumer-focused approach to personalization by utilizing data and analytics. Improving search functionality, site loading times and the checkout process to make the shopper looking for luxury off-price fashion as smooth and convenient of experience as possible.
